And so are we! We aren't in an evacuation zone, we went grocery shopping yesterday (there was a line to get into Trader Joe's!), and we're fully equipped with candles, matches, booze, and books, ready to hunker down. My only worry is the power will go out and all our newly-bought food will go bad...
But to all who have texted or emailed, thanks for your concern. Right now we are fine, and our apartment is far away from any water or flood zone. We're also on the second floor of our building, so we're safe!

love it! copy and pasted to my desktop..his "grandcousins?" were without a/c last night. Got fixed this morning so all is well and Sheila and group survived..We are ten hours away in Chama..love you all
